Broomes Cleaning Services

Welcome to Broomes Cleaning Services! We appreciate your business. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking with us. You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions by engaging in our services.

1. Services Provided:

We offer domestic cleaning services as described in your chosen service package or as otherwise agreed upon. This may include (but is not limited to):
Regular Cleaning: Dusting all surfaces (furniture, shelves, window sills, etc.) Vacuuming or sweeping floors, mopping hard floors, cleaning and sanitising bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers/tubs), and cleaning kitchen surfaces (countertops, sink, stovetop).
Deep Cleaning: Cleaning windows (interior), cleaning skirting boards, cleaning grout in bathrooms, cleaning light fixtures, dusting blinds and curtains, cleaning inside cabinets, cleaning doors and door frames.
One-Off Cleaning: A one-off clean can be tailored to your specific needs and can range from a basic tidy-up to a deep clean covering all areas of the property.
Specialised Cleaning: After-party cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, oven cleaning, carpet cleaning, fridge/freezer cleaning.
We will provide the cleaning services at the agreed-upon date and time. We will endeavour to arrive on time, but unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will communicate any significant delays to you as soon as possible.

2. Pricing and Payment:

The price for our services will be quoted to you based on the number of hours required for your property, the type of cleaning required, and any additional services requested.
Payment Methods: We accept cash, cheques, credit cards, and online bank transfers.
Late Payment: Payments made outside of the designated 3-day period will incur an additional charge of £5.00 per day.
Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to adjust the price if the condition of the property is significantly different from what was described at the time of the quote, or if additional services are requested. We will discuss any price adjustments with you before proceeding.

3. Client Responsibilities:

Access: You must provide us with access to the property at the agreed-upon time. If we are unable to access the property, a cancellation fee may apply (see cancellation policy).
Utilities: You must ensure that water and electricity are available at the property.
Pets: Please inform us of any pets at the property. We will take reasonable care, but we are not responsible for the well-being of your pets. Please ensure pets are secure during cleaning.
Valuables: Please secure any valuable or fragile items before our arrival. We are not responsible for any damage to such items.
Clearance: Please ensure that the areas to be cleaned are reasonably clear of clutter. We may not be able to clean heavily cluttered areas.

4. Health and Safety:

The company adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations. Clients must inform staff of any potential hazards or safety concerns before work commences.

5. Our Responsibilities:

Professional Service: We will provide cleaning services in a professional and efficient manner.
Insurance: We maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including liability insurance.
Supplies: We will provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise agreed upon.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling:

Client Cancellation: You must notify us of any cancellation at least 48 hours before the scheduled cleaning time. Failure to do so will require full payment before your next clean.
Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible.
Rescheduling: We will work with you to reschedule any cancelled appointments.

7. Complaints and Refunds:

If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us and we will do our best to address your concerns and rectify the situation.

8. Insurance and Liability:

We are not liable for any damage caused by pre-existing conditions at the property. However, the company’s liability is limited to the cost of the specific cleaning service provided.

9. Confidentiality:

The Company maintains strict confidentiality regarding client information and premises details.

10. Termination:

Either party may terminate ongoing service agreements with 30 days’ notice.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or otherwise communicated to you.
